Shave Biopsy
Also known as tangential excision, this procedure slices growths on the surface of the skin using a blade. It is useful for removing and diagnosing small growths on the outer layer of the skin.

Acne Surgery

Electrodesiccation and Curettage (ED&C)
ED&C is used for treating mild cancers, benign tumours and pre-cancers. After administering local anaesthesia, the doctor scraps of the abnormal tissue using a special tool and cauterizes the wound to prevent bleeding. The procedure is usually repeated if the tumour is cancerous and it takes time to heal as compared to other methods,
